Tir Conaill Football Club is an exciting new community football club being established in Glasgow, inspired by the strong connections between Scotland and Donegal. Built on the values of community, opportunity, ambition and inclusion, our aim is to create a club that brings people together through a shared passion for football while making a positive impact both on and off the pitch.
As a new club, we are at the beginning of our journey. We are currently welcoming expressions of interest from players, coaches, volunteers, sponsors and supporters who would like to play a part in building something special from the ground up. Whether your ambition is to play, coach, volunteer, support or partner with the club, there will be a place for you within the Tir Conaill family.
Our vision is to develop a sustainable football club that provides opportunities for players of all ages and abilities while creating a welcoming environment for families and the wider community. We believe football should be accessible, enjoyable and capable of inspiring people to achieve their potential both within the game and beyond it.
Known as The Red Deer, our identity reflects the proud landscapes and heritage shared between Scotland and Ireland. Alongside our first team ambitions, we also aim to develop Tir Conaill Academy, known as The Fawns, creating a pathway for young players to learn, develop and progress within a positive football environment.
In time, our ambition is to become more than just a football club. We want Tir Conaill FC to be a hub for community engagement, player development, education, health and wellbeing initiatives, and opportunities for local people to connect through sport. Success on the pitch will always be important, but equally important will be the positive impact we can make within the communities we serve.
This is only the beginning of the Tir Conaill story, and we would love you to be part of it.
